Leslie (MacPhaul) Eldridge, 62, died peacefully on May 7th at Oriol Health Care in Holden, MA after a long illness due to complications from myotonic muscular dystrophy. Born in Springfield to Laura (Hutchings) MacPhaul and the late Richard MacPhaul Sr, she was a graduate of Classical High School and University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She worked at Mass Mutual as a Systems Analyst for 29 years. She was a member of the Scantic Valley YMCA and had been active with the Springfield School Volunteers. She enjoyed reading, volleyball, tennis, vacationing at the beach and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Howard Eldridge of Wilbraham, her mother Laura (Hutchings) MacPhaul, brothers Charles MacPhaul of Marietta GA and David MacPhaul of Gainesville FL, her mother-in-law Janice Eldridge and many beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves her special friend and caregiver Chozin. She was predeceased by her brother Richard MacPhaul Jr. She will be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13th from 4:00 � 7:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Leslie�s Memorial Service will be on Saturday at 11:00 am at Wilbraham Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
