Leslie R. Coventry, Jr.

Leslie R. Coventry, Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late Leslie and Vlasta (Homola) Coventry, Leslie dedicated his career as a machinist across several local manufacturing companies. A man of simple pleasures, he found joy in coin collecting, watching movies, traveling with his family, and listening to his collection of music on his record player. In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by his son Christopher Coventry in 1979 and his wife Eleanor M. (Hooper) Coventry in 2006. His memory will be cherished by his son Michael Coventry of Southwick, Cynthia Moran and her husband Daniel of Springfield, and his two sisters: Carole Root and her husband Mal of Old Saybrook, CT, and Diane Callahan, her husband Jeff of East Longmeadow, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Leslie will be dearly missed by his four beloved grandchildren: Megan Coventry, Samantha Richard and her husband Brett, Hannah Moran, and Michael Coventry, as well as his adored great-grandchildren: Makenna, Jett, and Eleanor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26th from 9-11AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, followed by burial at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield.
