Leo L. Gonyea

Leo L. Gonyea, 88, longtime East Longmeadow resident, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Born in Ludlow to the late Leo and Lyla (Griswold) Gonyea, he was a proud Veteran serving in the US Army and Merchant Marines. He worked in management for Wyco Electrical Co. for many years and as a custodian for the Town of East Longmeadow. Leo is survived by his brothers Raymond Gonyea of Enfield, CT and David Gonyea of East Longmeadow, his sister Evelyn Amsden of East Longmeadow and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine Pomeroy and his brother Robert Gonyea. A private burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
