Lee C. Towle, Sr.

Lee C. Towle, 85, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Monday, January 12, 2015. Born in Brockton to the late Lee C. Towle, Sr. and Mildred (Solari) Towle, he was a longtime East Longmeadow resident. A 1957 graduate of Stonehill College, he was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for General Insulation for more than 30 years as a salesman. An avid golfer, he was a member of Elmcrest Country Club for 47 years and later became a member of the �Ball buster� and Veterans� Golf Course. He was communicant of St. Michael�s Church and St. Patrick�s Church. He leaves his beloved wife of 57 years, Jean (Macauley), one sister Carol Carroll and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gerald W. Towle, Sr. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16th from 4:00 � 7:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Family and friends may meet for Lee�s Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11:30 am at St. Michael�s Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
