Lawrence Henault, 77, died peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024 at home. Born in Fitchburg, MA on September 9,1946, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Grier) Henault. He was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and Western New England University and served proudly in the Army during the Vietnam era. Larry worked as a patrolman, aka Lawrence “Mad Dog” Henault, for the Wilbraham Police Department from 1974-2003. He was proud of his 29 years with the Wilbraham Police Dept., where he had many good times and made great friends. Larry was a fun loving guy who enjoyed a good cocktail and a good conversation with friends. He also enjoyed a good lobster roll and the many times he spent in Ogunquit, Maine with his wife Priscilla and his sisters and brothers in law. Larry also liked to watch old movies and tv shows like “Law and Order” and “Bar Rescue.”
In addition to his parents, Larry was also predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Priscilla (Edson) Henault. He is survived by sisters; Gail Bubon (Peter) and Donna Durkee (Gerry), nieces; Tanya Bubon, Shawna Cosgrove and Hillary Durkee, and nephew Zachary Durkee.
Thank you to Rebecca Gouvin and Marc Bessette for all they have done caring for Larry over the years.
