Laurette Marie (Heroux) Bishop, 86, of Wilbraham, MA passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born on March 10, 1939, in West Warwick, RI, daughter of the late Ernest and Aurelia (Lebrun) Heroux.
Laurette moved to Wilbraham more than 40 years ago and spent more than 20 of those years working at the CVS in the Eastfield Mall, and later in the Ludlow store. She played bingo three times a week, watched every Boston Bruins game she could, and enjoyed traveling to Mexico and Las Vegas with her daughter and granddaughter.
Laurette is survived by her children Deborah McDonald and her husband Kristopher of Ludlow, MA, Robert Bishop Jr. and Jenny Benvenuto of East Longmeadow, MA, Steven Bishop and his wife Jacqueline of Amherst, MA, and Janet Dyer and her husband Michael of Hingham, MA; her twin sister Irene and husband Martin Smatko of Sun City, AZ, and brother Ernest Heroux of Pawtucket, RI; her grandchildren, Jill Dannay, Timothy Dannay and his wife Kristen, Joshua Bishop, and Brynn Dyer; and three great grandchildren, Quinn, Ellery and Fern Dannay. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and son David.
