Springfield- Kyle Wesley Gosselin, 20, unexpectedly passed away Sunday in Springfield. He was born in Springfield on September 6, 2003, and lived his entire life there. He was a 2022 graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. He was employed as an auto mechanic, most recently working at Victory Lane Automotive in Chicopee. He was an avid hockey player for years in the WTM Hockey organization and later for Minnechaug Regional High School. Starting at a very early age he was very gifted mechanically. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality that brightened up every room he entered. He was a loyal and true friend that could make anyone laugh. He was the beloved son of William W. Gosselin and Sarah M. Gosselin of Springfield, loving brother of William T. Gosselin and sister-in-law Kendal C. (Bates) Gosselin of Springfield, and cherished grandson of Kevin and Holly Dorsey of Wilbraham and Timothy and Tricia Aloisio of Chicopee. He also leaves his girlfriend, Samantha Shrewsbury, as well as many close cousins, aunts, and uncles. Kyle was predeceased by grandparents Philip H. Gosselin Sr. and Rosemarie Espinosa. There will be a Funeral Mass Tuesday (7/30) at 11 am at the St. Cecilia’s Church, 42 Main Street, Wilbraham followed by a Celebration of Life at the Ludlow Country Club.
