Kurt Edward Langille

Kurt Edward Langille, 55, passed away after a brief illness at Brigham and Women�s Hospital on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Edward Leo and Priscilla (Leite) Langille. A graduate of Commerce High School, Kurt was a lifelong resident of the Springfield area. A gifted craftsman, he owned and operated Kurt�s Home Repair and Remodeling of Wilbraham. An avid skier, he also loved going to the beach and riding his motorcycle. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Heidi (Sonoda) Langille in 2004. Kurt is survived by his brother Karl Langille of Frisco TX, sister Amy Langille Kennedy of North Hampton, NH, sisters in law; Gail Langille and Jeanne Langille, brother in law Paul Kennedy, nieces and nephews; Clark, Oliver, Connor, Bryce, Delaney, Gabrielle, Olya and Kaitlin and a large extended family. Kurt will be deeply missed by his many cherished friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, Kurt was also predeceased by his brother Eric C. Langille. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14th from 3:00 � 7:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Kurt�s Funeral will be Friday at 8:30 am from the Wilbraham Funeral Home to a Mass at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth�s Church, 191 Hubbard St., Ludlow. Burial will follow in Island Pond Cemetery.
