Kenneth Dwight Walker, 84, died peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA to the late Kenneth David and Dorothy (Dubie) Walker, Ken grew up in Chicopee and attended Chicopee schools. He was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam era and worked as a Service Engineer for National Cash Register for many years until his retirement. Ken was a member of the VFW #3104 in South Hadley, the American Legion #266 in Granby and the Wilbraham Hampden Rotary Club. In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his beloved wife Carol Ann (Doyle) Walker in 2023 and his son John Walker in 2024. He is survived by his son Thomas Walker and his wife Cheryl of Chicopee, MA, his daughter Brenda DeWilde and her husband Richard of Pittsburg, NH, John's wife Denise, her daughter Lindsay Pepe, John’s daughter Amber McWalker and her wife Ryan of Springfield, MA, 2 stepchildren; Suzanne M. Croteau and her husband George and the late Jonathon Everett, daughter in law Tammy Everett and 2 grandchildren; Alyson Rose and Madyson Ann Everett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th from 10:30am-12:30pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield.
