Karen A. Ordynowicz

Karen (Monette) Ordynowicz, 72, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Friday August 1, 2025. She was born in Ludlow in 1953 to the late Walter and Ann (Kobani) Monette. Karen grew up in Springfield, MA and enjoyed spending time at Center Pond in Becket, MA. Karen graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield and moved to Wilbraham in 1974 with her husband Thomas Ordynowicz, who predeceased her in 2010. She worked for many years in the bindery department at the former Bassett Printing Co. and John C. Otto Co. Karen loved to play Bingo and the “slots” and eat pizza and lobster. She will be dearly missed by her sister in law Deborah Ordynowicz of Ludlow and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th from 10-11AM followed by Karen’s Memorial Service at 11AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. A private burial at North Becket Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ludlow Senior Center, 228 State St., Ludlow, MA 01056, Wilbraham Senior Center, 250 Springfield St., Wilbraham, MA 01095 or to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or to the charity of one’s choice.
