Obituary
Judith Ann (Tierney) Zepke, 73, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Born in Norfolk, CT to the late Francis and Marjorie (Larkin) Tierney, she grew up in Avon, CT and was a graduate of Becker Jr. College and Mt. Holyoke College. She was a teacher in the West Hartford, CT school system and substituted in FL, Hampden and Wilbraham. She is survived by her children; Christopher Zepke and Amanda Haldeman and her husband Steven, of Hampden, her brother Brian Tierney of Ashland, MA, former husband Robert Zepke, daughter in law Patricia Michaud, nephew Michael Waldron and his wife Laura, grandchildren; Athena, Gilycia, Braeden, Shannon and Colin and good friends Tom and Joy Roman of East Longmeadow. Judith was predeceased by her brother Kevin Tierney and longtime friend Thomas Waldron. She also leaves many friends and fond memories from her second home in Vero Beach, Florida. A Celebration of Judith’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 4th from 1-6 pm at 153 Bennett Rd. in Hampden. All are welcome. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
