Obituary
Judith S. Rososky, 82, passed away on July 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Judith was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on June 20, 1940 to Russell and Doris Maffitt. She grew up in Worcester and graduated from North High School before training to be an X-Ray Technician. She married her husband, Charles F. Rososky, on June 29, 1963; they were able to celebrate their fifty-ninth wedding anniversary just last week. After raising two sons, Judith returned to work as the Tumor Registrar at Baystate Medical Center for over twenty years before retiring in 2000, making many lifelong friends during her career. She was an active member of Foster Memorial Church for over fifty years, serving as the Moderator for two years. Judy’s favorite hobby was reading, but there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family and friends. Besides her husband Charles, she leaves her sons, Michael and his wife Kristina and their children, Rachael and Michaela, of Groton, MA; and Russell and his wife Patricia of Spencer, MA. Additionally, she leaves her beloved cousins Diane Arachy and her husband Charles, of Rutland, MA; and Vincent Manduca and his wife Kristin, of Leominster, MA; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce and Marianne Rososky, of Westborough, MA, and her nieces and nephew, Elizabeth, Donna, Pamela, and Bruce. Finally, she leaves other relatives and friends too numerous to list, but nonetheless dear to her heart.
Calling Hours will be held SUNDAY, JULY 10th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 BOSTON RD., WILBRAHAM 01095. Funeral Services will be held on MONDAY, JULY 11th, at 12:00 p.m., also at WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in a private ceremony for the family at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a memorial donation in Judith’s name to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd., Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701 or online at www.lung.org .
