Obituary
John Robert Roncalli, 83, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2018. John was born and raised in Springfield, the first son of Fred and Mary (Callahan) Roncalli. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a proprietor of several local bars and eateries throughout his working career. He enjoyed many winters in Florida. He is predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Mona (Carroll) Ronalli. He leaves his three daughters; Joan Cummings of Putnam, CT, Mona Vancini of Springfield and Elizabeth Chmura of Wilbraham. He leaves his seven grandchildren; Colin Cummings, Brynne Cummings Radel, Olivia and Victoria Barth, Daniel and Matthew Chmura and Samantha Kularski. He is predeceased by his brother Michael Roncalli, and leaves his brother Daniel Roncalli, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends. Services will be private and determined at a later date. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
