Obituary
Belchertown resident John M. Barron, 66, died peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at his home of 34 years, surrounded by his family and friends. Raised in East Longmeadow, he was the son of the late Joseph and Faye (Parsons) Barron. John was a graduate of East Longmeadow High School. He earned an Associate’s Degree from STCC in Electro Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration from American International College. John worked as an engineer for Verizon for 33 years until his retirement in 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria (Reyes) Barron, his stepdaughter Yasmeen Reyes, brothers; James, Michael and Joel Barron and sisters; Liz Hebert and Amy Burke and several nieces and nephews. John’s Funeral Service will be Friday, November 4 at 11:00 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Belchertown.
