Joann L. (Needles) Hopkins

JoAnn L. (Needles) Hopkins, 83, died peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Sauerbeck) Needles. She graduated from the Springfield City Hospital of Nursing, Springfield, OH, as a Registered Nurse. JoAnn has lived in Wilbraham for 40 years and was a faithful member of Christ the King Church. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 62 years Charles �Bob� Hopkins, two loving sons; Michael Hopkins and his wife Nancy of Franklin, MA and Stephen Hopkins of Wilbraham, two sisters in law; Carol and Jody Needles, cherished grandchildren; Danielle, Julia, Renee and Paul Hopkins. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Charles and Paul Needles. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11th from 4:00 � 7:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Family and friends may meet for JoAnn�s Funeral Service on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Christ the King Church. Burial will be private.
