Joan M. (Mongeon) Gallini

Joan M. (Mongeon) Gallini, 82, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Burlington, VT, she was a longtime Wilbraham resident. A communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, she was an active volunteer in the Wilbraham public schools and was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital for over 30 years. She leaves her beloved husband of 59 years Thomas Gallini of Wilbraham, son Michael T. Gallini of Springfield, daughter Carolyn Cardaropoli and her husband Frank of Feeding Hills, four grandchildren; Michael P. Gallini, Sarah Ragonese, Kristen and Joseph T. Cardaropoli and six great grandchildren; Emily and Andrew Gallini, twins Luke and Sophia Ragonese, and twins Matthew and Vincent Ragonese. Joan was predeceased by her daughter Dianne Gallini and her sister Doris Mongeon. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19th from 4:00 � 8:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Funeral will be Monday at 9:00 am from Wilbraham Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
