Jeffrey Beele O'Connor

On the morning of January 16, 2017, Jeffrey passed away at Sugarbush Ski Resort in Fayston, VT as a result of injuries sustained in a ski accident that day. Jeffrey was 39 years old. Jeffery was born May 20, 1977 in Springfield, MA. He was the youngest of three boys born to late Terrence D. O�Connor and Patricia A. O�Connor (Beele). He was a 1995 graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. Jeffrey attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was an entrepreneur and owner of American Excavation Contractors. Jeffrey was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, mountain biking and skiing. Skiing was a passion of his, having learned at the age of 2. He loved sharing his knowledge and passion of the outdoors with his children. Jeffery�s mechanical and trouble shooting abilities were well noted among family and friends. He was often the first to respond when people were in need. His forestry knowledge and skill with heavy machinery benefited victims of the 2011 tornado. Jeffery is survived by his wife Nan O�Connor (Jenkinson) and their 3 children Kate, Michael and Luke; Mother Patricia O�Connor (Beele) of Wilbraham, MA; Brother Brian and Jennifer O�Connor (Brady) of Wilbraham, MA; Brother Greg and Jennifer O�Connor (Toppi) of Hampden, MA. William and Amy Crocker (Jenkinson) of Wilbraham, MA. Nephews Patrick, Aidan, Will, John and Colby. Nieces Margaret, Emma, Sophia and Riya. And a brotherhood of loving and devoted friends! Family and friends may meet for Jeffrey�s Funeral Service on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Wilbraham United Church, 500 Main St., Wilbraham. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Minnechaug Land Trust, PO Box 455, Hampden, MA 01036, indicating "Rice Nature Preserve Stewardship Fund" in the left hand corner.
