Obituary
Jeffrey Melikian, age 63, of Hampden, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. He was surrounded by his family. Jeff was born on December 16, 1955, in Springfield. He lived in the Western Mass area most his life, was a graduate of American International College and a member of St. Gregory’s Armenian Church in Indian Orchard. He was employed by Mohegan Sun Casino for many years working his way up from dealer to shift manager all while remaining a constant presence in a number of Melikian Family Businesses.
Jeffrey was the beloved son of Ann (Atanian) Melikian and the late Takvor “Tom” Melikian, husband of Jeanne Twomey-Melikian, loving father of Jessica Honor Jones and her husband Jeffrey of Boynton Beach, FL, Zackrey Melikian and his wife Ashley of Simsbury, CT, and Alexander Melikian of Hampden, devoted grandfather of Henry R. Jones, caring brother of The Honorable Bruce Melikian and his wife Karen of Wilbraham and Mark Melikian of Westfield, and uncle of Trisha Melikian of York, PA and Sara Melikian of Wilbraham. There will be a Funeral Service 11 am Saturday at the WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 Boston Road, Wilbraham. Burial will follow at the Old Cemetery in Hampden. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
