Janis M. (Mclaughlin) Gilfoil

Longtime Springfield resident, Janis M. (McLaughlin) Gilfoil, 91, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of Henry and Frances (Monet) McLaughlin. She worked as a sales clerk at the former Steiger�s Department Store for 20 years and was a communicant of St. Patrick�s Church. Janis was predeceased by her husband Paul J. Gilfoil in 2008. She will be sadly missed by her six children; Paula Theroux, David Gilfoil and his wife Paulette, John Gilfoil and his wife Muriel, Linda Figueredo and her husband Henry, Kathy Fournier and Kristine Abramowitz and her husband Barry, 16 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her cat Mia. Janis� Funeral Service will be Monday, December 14th at 11:00 am at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Visitation will precede the Service from 9:00 � 10:30 am at Wilbraham Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
