Jane F. (Seidell) Heineman

April 1, 1937 — September 30, 2017

Jane F. (Seidell) Heineman passed away peacefully on Sept 30th at Wingate of Wilbraham. One of eleven children, she was born in Springfield to the late Helen and John Seidell. She was a devout Catholic and is now with her Lord and savior. She retired from the former Cathedral High School where she presided over "Room 229" and enjoyed driving the bus for the various athletic teams. Jane enjoyed camping in the Amish Country and Vermont, but her main passion was her grandson, Greg. She was a proud Nana who loved attending his sporting events. Jane will be sadly missed by her son Richard Heineman, Jr. and his wife Marian of Wilbraham along with her grandson, Greg Heineman. She is survived by her brothers, John, Ed, Raymond, Donald, Richard and Francis and sisters, Ann and Phoebe along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives including her former husband, Richard Heineman, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother Roy and sister Helen and her very dear friend, Sister Doris Graves of the SSJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5th from 4 to 7 at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Road, Wilbraham. Jane�s Funeral will be Friday at 9am from Wilbraham Funeral Home to a Mass at 10am at St. Cecilia�s Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in St. Michael�s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jane's memory may be made to the Sisters of St Joseph, 577 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
