James A. Mcewan, Esq.

James �Jimmy� McEwan, Esq. of Hampden, passed away July 26th, at home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Springfield on May 8, 1949. He leaves his beloved wife of 34 years, Debra Anderson and his three children, Jennifer Picard and her husband Michael Picard of East Longmeadow, Karen McEwan and her partner Steven Ledger of Springfield and Jordan McEwan and his fianc� Rachel Jackson of Springfield. He also hated to leave behind his brother Robert McEwan, his longtime best friend Robert Langone, and his cherished grandson Michael Picard. Jimmy received both his Bachelor�s degree and Law degree from Western New England University. As a sole practitioner in Hampden, he served as a most trusted legal advisor and counselor to countless clients for decades. He was a true professional. His acts of kindness, goodwill and philanthropy will be greatly missed by the many, many people who had the joy of knowing such a nice guy. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3:00 � 7:00 pm at the WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 Boston Rd, Wilbraham. The funeral will be held at the Wilbraham Funeral Home on Friday at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden.
