Obituary
Jacqueline Paine Daniels, 75, of Wilbraham, passed away on April 9th at Accordius Health in Mooresville, NC.

Born on April 20, 1946 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy M. Paine. Jackie was a graduate of Commerce High School and attended Western New England College, while also working in the Admissions Office. Nearly all of her professional career centered on serving others in the Greater Springfield community. Early on, Jackie enjoyed working for the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and went on to become the Director of Volunteer Services at Springfield Municipal Hospital for over 9 years. Later, while serving as Director of Volunteer and Transport Services at Harrington Memorial Hospital (HMH) in Southbridge, MA, she was elected Area Chair for the MA Association of Directors of Healthcare Volunteer Services. Jackie was recognized for her energy and enthusiasm with which she supported the work of the pastoral care at HMH, at the Annual White Mass at St. Paul's Cathedral in Worcester.

Jackie loved being surrounded by her family and friends and enjoyed hosting many holiday celebrations. She was passionate about animals and cared for several faithful companions throughout her life. Having a great love for the outdoors, she relished many wonderful adventures traveling, hiking, camping and canoeing. Jackie will always be remembered with love by her two children, Michael Daniels and wife Michelle of Alpine, CA and Sherry (Daniels) Hurley and husband Charles of Mooresville, NC; her treasured grandchildren, Marisa and Cory Daniels, Cole, Vanessa, and Faith Hurley; and all of her extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30am, July 30th at Wilbraham United Church of Christ, 500 Main St., Wilbraham, MA. Jacqueline will be laid to rest with her mother and grandparents at Quabbin Park Cemetery in Ware, MA at the convenience of the family.
