Obituary
Jacob Thomas Cote, infant child of Daniel and Tara (Edson) Cote, crossed the rainbow into heaven unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center in the loving arms of his parents. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents Dean and SallyAnn Edson of East Longmeadow, paternal grandparents Peter and Ann Cote of Chicopee, his twin brother Colin Lyons Cote, sister Katherine Ann Cote, uncle Matthew Cote, aunt Emily Cote, his cousin Claire Cote, his Godmother Jeanne Brodalski, Godfather Vincent LaDuke, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jacob’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 10th at 12:00 Noon at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, MA. Friends may stop by the funeral home to pay their respects briefly between the hours of 10AM and 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in East Longmeadow. The Cote family would like to extend a special thank you to Father Wayne of St. Michael’s parish in East Longmeadow, Dr. Rachana Singh and the staff at Baystate Medical Center NICU and especially Michele Kras, Michelle Tetrault, Leah Khodunov, Jeanne Brodalski, Bonnie Gebbie, Kim Madden, the Doctors and Nurses of the Pediatric Division of BSMC, Maternal Fetal Medicine at BSMC, the Maternal Fetal Medicine Team at New York Presbyterian Hospital, as well as the Doctors and staff at Pediatric Services of Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to March of Dimes by visiting www.marchofdimes.org .
