Howard P. Dubuque

Howard P. Dubuque, 84, died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Grand Isle, VT to the late Fred and Jennie (Blow) Dubuque, he was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War. Howard worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a grinder for 39 years, until his retirement. A longtime Springfield resident, Howard was a faithful communicant of Mary, Mother of Hope Church and enjoyed golf and bowling. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years Florence (Lajoie) Dubuque, four daughters; Linda Hietala and her husband Brad, Deborah Kinney and her husband Doug, Marilyn Marr and her husband Warren and Therese Kowalski and her husband Mike, ten grandchildren; Melissa Quinones and her husband Efrain, Angela Kinney, Todd Kinney and his wife Laura, Ben, Kristi and Megen Plourde, Jennifer Flewelling and her husband Sean, Rachel Nabors, Michael and Joey Kowalski, nine great grandchildren. His sisters; Laurette Beaudette and her husband Tom and Bertha Groff and her husband Loren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Howard was predeceased by brothers; Preston, Earl and Fred Dubuque and sisters; Melda Lauricella, Marie and Connie Dubuque and Viola Gauddette. Howard�s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 30th at 12:00 Noon at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10 am on Friday at Wilbraham Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 2:00pm at MA Veterans� Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
