Henry John �Hank� Stawas, 82, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Born in Ludlow, he was son of the late Stanley and Anna (Szyndal) Stawas. He was owner and operator of Hank�s Stony Hill Shell Station in Wilbraham and Citgo Station on Page Blvd. in Springfield. He was a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason, having belonged to the Samuel Sherwood Masonic Lodge. Hank is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Sandra (Fadden) Stawas, two sons; Steven Stawas of Springfield and Scott Stawas of Wilbraham, one daughter, Lisa Harris of Wilbraham, four cherished grandchildren; Scott Stawas, Jr. and his fianc� Amanda Burke of Wilbraham, Ashley Dunn of Granville, Olivia Harris and Mason Henry Harris, both of Wilbraham, and 2 great grandchildren; Mackenzie Stawas and Elliott Dunn-MacDonald. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31st from 1:00 � 4:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Hank�s name may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
