Helen T. Farnsworth

Lifelong Wilbraham resident Helen T. (Murphy) Farnsworth, 95, died peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Baystate Wing Hospital. Born in Wilbraham, she was one of ten children of the late Michael and Mary (Moriarty) Murphy. Helen owned a lunch counter in Wilbraham many years ago, worked at State Line Potato Chips and worked for many years at Tambrands until her retirement. She was predeceased by her husband Norman Farnsworth and her son Robert Farnsworth. Helen will be sadly missed by her three devoted daughters; Norma Houghton and Mary LaPierre (Brian), both of Tupper Lake, NY and Jeannie Babineau (John) of Wilbraham as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Helen’s Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 10th at 11:00 am at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, Palmer. Visitation will precede the Service at Wilbraham Funeral Home from 9-11 AM.
