Obituary
Harold “Harry” Davis went to be with the Lord after a heroic struggle with Covid 19. He spent the last year at the Lifecare of Wilbraham, where he so appreciated the care he received there from the many nurses and staff. He made everyone laugh each and every day. Harry, as he was fondly known, was born August 7, 1928 in Westfield, Massachusetts. He is the son of Harry A. Davis and Dorothy V. Bekech, both predeceasing Harry. He is survived by two nephews, Paul Davis, Stephen Davis, and his companion for thirty years, Susie Saletnik. Harry served in the U.S. Navy, enlisted at the age of 14 and fought in World War II. After the war, Harry began a sign painting company, Davis Sign Company. After retirement, Harry enjoyed going to the racetrack daily, where he would meet with friends and admire the beautiful horses. Harry loved telling stories and making people laugh. Services are pending. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, MA 01095 is in charge of the arrangements.
