Gloria F. (Fusaro) Kane

September 13, 1930 — September 8, 2017

Gloria (Fusaro) Kane, 86, passed away peacefully at home. Born in Springfield to the late Carlo and Alexandria (Pacitti) Fusaro, she was a longtime East Longmeadow resident. Gloria worked as a legal secretary for the Springfield Ordnance District and for the Hampden County Sheriff�s Dept. for many years. A simple person, Gloria loved the beach, opera, classical music and the Arts. She always welcomed everyone into her home and loved to cook for friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years Joseph R. Kane, their three children; Michael Kane and his significant other Nancy Sylvia of East Longmeadow, Joseph Kane and his wife Mary of Somers, CT and Andrea Mackin and her husband David of East Longmeadow, one cherished sister Beverly Moltenbrey of Springfield and four cherished grandchildren; Robert and William Kane and Tiana and Sophia Mackin and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her four siblings. Family and friends may meet for Gloria�s Funeral Mass on Friday, Sept. 15th at 10:00 am at St. Michael�s Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 621 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
