Gertrude Viola (Dembroski) Marcinkiewicz

Gertrude V. (Dembroski) Marcinkiewicz, 103, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. She was born in Hatfield to the late Alexander and Teoflia Dembroski. Gertrude worked for many years as a sorter at Sunshine Arts card manufacturing in Springfield and later as an assembly worker for Hathaway Bakeries. A longtime Wilbraham resident, she was a faithful communicant of St. Cecilia�s Church. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Joseph Marcinkiewicz in 1967, and her son Robert Marcinkiewicz in 1990. She is survived by her daughter Dorothy A. Kleeberg and her husband Richard of Wilbraham, three grandchildren; Lynne Kleeberg of Somers, CT, Kenneth Kleeberg and his wife Kimberlee of Somers, CT and Daniel Kleeberg and his wife Annette of East Longmeadow and six great grandchildren; Stephanie, Ashley, Hannah, Christopher, Justin and Jacob. A Private Funeral Mass was held at St. Cecilia�s Church and burial followed in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee. Wilbraham Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
