Gerri M. Glynn

Gerri M. Glynn died on October 11, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center after a short but spirited battle with lung cancer. She was born on January 4, 1947 to Elaine (Morrison) Pluta and the late Floyd Glynn. Gerri graduated from Technical High School in 1964, and immediately started her career at New England Telephone. After 27 years, she retired early, and pursued the next phase of her life with independence and joy. She was an entertaining, devoted, compassionate, selfless and generous friend to many. Gerri will be dearly missed by her mother, Elaine, and her brother, David, as well as her numerous friends, especially Sharon Melendez, and her daschund, Desi. Gerri was an organ donor. Donations may be made in her memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St, Springfield MA 01104. All services are private and the Wilbraham Funeral Home 2551 Boston Rd is in charge of arrangements.
