Florence M. Dubuque

Florence M. (Lajoie) Dubuque, 91, passed away on November 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Highgate, VT, on February 4, 1932, the daughter of the late Dosithe and Rose (Therrien) Lajoie. Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband Howard to whom she was married to for 63 years. Their souls are reunited once more.
She worked for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as an inspector for 21 years, retiring in 1987. She was a former communicant of Mary, Mother of Hope Church.
Florence is survived by her four loving children; Linda Hietala and her husband Brad of Ellington, CT, Deborah Kinney and her husband Doug of Springfield, MA, Marilyn Marr and her husband Warren of New Harbor, ME and Therese Kowalski and her husband Mike of Broad Brook, CT. Her grandchildren; Melissa Quinones and her husband Efrain, Angela Kinney, Todd Kinney and his wife Laura, Ben, Kristi and Megan Plourde, Jennifer Flewelling, Rachel Nabors, Michael and Joseph Kowalski, ten great grandchildren, and a great, great granddaughter Leilani. She was also predeceased by her brother Maurice Lajoie.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29th from 10-11AM at the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. A Service will be held at 11AM followed by burial at the MA Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
