Florence Mae (Converse) Shults

Florence Mae (Converse) Shults, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Wingate at Wilbraham. She was born in Springfield to the late Horatio and Marion (Davis) Converse. She worked for the Wilbraham Public Schools and as a baker at Wilbraham Monson Academy and the family owned Village Store in the center of Wilbraham. She was a longtime member of Grace Union Church in Wilbraham and a member of Eastern Star. Florence was predeceased by her husband Rudolph Shults and her son Wayne Shults. She will be sadly missed by her son Richard L. Shults of Wilbraham, two grandchildren; Richard L. Shults, Jr. and Dana Shults and two great grandchildren; Connor and Griffin Shults. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Union Church, 10 Chapel Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095.
