Evelyn G. (Ackerman) Wiley

Evelyn G. (Ackerman) Wiley, 98, died peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Palmer Healthcare Center, surrounded by her family. Born in Hartford, CT to the late Bernard and Emma (Winell) Ackerman, she was a longtime Hampden resident. Evelyn was a longstanding member of the Corona Chapter of Eastern Star in East Longmeadow, the Hampden Federated Church and their Ladies Aide and Finance Committee. She was predeceased by her husband Abraham C. Wiley in 1976. She is survived by her son Phillip C. Wiley of New Salem, her daughter Barbara Fuller of Ware, her sister Adina Johnson of Hampden, four grandchildren; Martha Whitehill of Raynham, Amy Heffernan of Kingston, Kevin Wiley of Hampden and Keith Wiley of Hartford and four great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 12:00 Noon at Hampden Federated Church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
