Obituary
Eveline (Perry) Whyte, 94, died peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2020. Born in Springfield on July 8, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Ellen (Clancy) Perry. She was educated in Springfield schools and graduated from Classical High School. She retired in 1991 from Wall Street Journal in Chicopee where she worked as a secretary. An active communicant of St. Cecilia Church, she belonged to the Women’s Club and the Senior Connection and was a member of the Wilbraham Red Hat Society. Eveline was predeceased by her husband Benjamin W. Whyte in 1986 and her son Thomas B. Whyte in 2012. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Charlene M. Lambert and her husband Thomas of Enfield and her granddaughter Kristen Lambert of Boston. A private Funeral Service will be held at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Cecilia Church Women’s Club, 42 Main St., Wilbraham, MA 01095.
