Eric C. Johnson

Eric Carl Johnson passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA, following a long illness. Born in Orange, CA, Eric was the son of the late Paul and Helen Johnson.

In spite of Eric’s physical challenges he was active, kind, and always understanding of others. He loved the outdoors. He often talked about camping as a young boy with friends and family. He went on many camping and hiking trips with his wife, his daughter and their two dogs. He loved taking his daughter to the park and to their favorite restaurant at Plymouth Harbor. Eric loved American history and supported environmental causes. Lastly, one cannot remember Eric without mentioning how much he loved watching and following football.

Eric is survived by his wife Christine Johnson and their daughter Rumei Johnson their 3 pups and Kitty of Palmer MA, and his brother and sister, Bryan Johnson and Sonia Lukens, both of San Diego, CA. Service will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home is assisting the family.
