Obituary
Elizabeth A. Bourget, 84, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norwood, MA to the late Frank and Adeline (Camarra) Romanelli. She was a long time Wilbraham resident. She worked as an administrative assistant at Milton Bradley, but devoted her life to family. She was a beacon of light with the grace and elegance of an angel. A true matriarch who fulfilled her role to her dedicated family and was loved by all. Within her enjoyment of life she had a love for football, a loyal Patriots fan. She loved traveling, cooking and spending time at Mohegan Sun...but, her most "cherished love of all, her grandchildren", who she dedicated her heart to all of them. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years of having a perfectly loving marriage, Robert L. Bourget. Their children Robert L. Bourget, Jr. (Michele) of Brimfield, Carole E. Bolduc (Gerald) of Wilbraham and Lisa A Gillette (Bruce) of Ludlow, brother Frank Romanelli (Pam) of Maine, sisters Lorraine Canavan (Bob), of Chatham, Deanna Canavan (Jim) of Brewster, and Ann-Marie Gogos (Steve) of Holden, six grandchildren: Joseph, Michelle, Robert, Anthony, "J.R." Jerry Raymond, Daniel and two great grandchildren, Aubriella and Lilliana, her adored dog "Trixie", and her beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Wilbraham Funeral home, 2551 Boston Rd. Wilbraham where services will commence.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to; Breast Cancer Research at the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 403 W. Maple Ave., Springdale, AZ 72764, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
