Elizabeth A. Mccarthy

Elizabeth Ann McCarthy, 86, died peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late Daniel and Kathryn (Burke) McCarthy, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baystate Medical Center for 47 years until her retirement. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also predeceased by her brother Charles E. McCarthy in 2022. She is survived by her sister in law Maureen McCarthy of Ludlow, nieces; Susan Wilhite and her husband Donald of New London, WI and Sharon Boucher and her husband John of Warren, MA, great nieces and nephews; Conner and Riley Wilhite and Ryan and Carly Boucher and great, great niece Berkley. Family and friends may meet for Elizabeth’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 28th at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia Church, Wilbraham. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Springfield. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham, MA 01095 or to the charity of one’s choice.
