Obituary
Eleanor (Diehl) Dietrich, 92, died peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021. Born in Springfield to the late Rudolph and Marion (Todd) Diehl, she worked as a private duty home health aide for a local VNA for many years. Eleanor was a faithful member of Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam, and a dedicated server. She enjoyed baking and spending time on Cape Cod. Eleanor was predeceased by her son John Dietrich, her nephew Michael Sheriff and her sister Marilyn Sheriff. She is survived by two sons; Richard Dietrich and James Dietrich and his wife Dawn, daughter in law Debra Dietrich, six grandchildren; Michael Dietrich, Sarah Dumas, Kimberly Anguish, Meredith, Caroline and Charlotte Dietrich, four great grandchildren; Lilly, Elliot and Quinn Dumas and Abigail Dietrich and nieces; Wendy Williams and Pamela Sayers. Family and friends may meet for Eleanor’s Memorial Service on Friday, July 16th at 1:30 PM, at Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam, MA, followed by burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, East Longmeadow. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Rescue Mission, 10 Mill St., PO Box 9045, Springfield, MA 01102-9045.
