Eileen L. (Ellis) Deane

Eileen Lilian (Ellis) Deane, 88, died Saturday Dec. 6, 2014. Eileen was born in London, England; daughter of A. G. Ellis and Ethel (Welling) Ellis. She was a WW II G.I. war bride, settling in Springfield and then in Wilbraham for 60 years. She was a homemaker and her children and grand children were her life. Her husband, Frances W. Deane Jr. died in 2010. A daughter, Charlene L. Ballou passed away in 1971. She is survived by her 5 children; Anna F., Stephen T., Francis W. III, Donald E.; David E.; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grand children; and many nieces and nephews in CT, MA, and England. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service to follow at the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2251 Boston Road, Wilbraham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shriner�s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
