Obituary
Longtime Hampden resident Edna May Fisher, 86, died peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late Adrian and Fannie (Card) Bennett, she was graduate of High School of Commerce. Edna was a faithful member of the Federated Church of Hampden. Edna loved her home, antiques and sewing and was an avid gardener and an excellent cook. She was predeceased by her husband Robert N. Fisher in 2018. She is survived by her three sons: Andrew Fisher of Enfield, Matthew Fisher and his wife Diane and Kenneth Fisher and fiancé Sybil LaFlamme, all of Hampden, four grandchildren: Tyler, Brittany, Tanner and Jennifer Fisher and one great grandson Bryce. Edna’s Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12th at 11:00 AM in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Hampden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Federated Community Church of Hampden, 590 Main St., Hampden, MA 01036 or Dakin Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101-6307.
