Doris (Bacon) Yakum

Doris (Bacon) Yakum, 83, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Wingate of Wilbraham. Born in Ware on August 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette (Rouisse) Bacon. Doris worked for the Eastern Container Company and was a communicant of St Cecilia�s Church in Wilbraham. Her husband Thomas Yakum died earlier this year. She leaves her brother, Paul Bacon of Amherst, her sister Rita Pikul of Palmer and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Cecilia�s Church. An hour of visitation will precede the Mass on Wednesday from 9:00 � 10:00 am at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd. Wilbraham. Burial will follow in St Aloysius Cemetery, Springfield.
