Obituary
Doranne (Stark) Shonio, 79, died peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Aurora, IL, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Morse) Stark. She worked as a caregiver at Monson Developmental Center for 20 years until her retirement. She is survived by her husband Darwin Shonio, seven children: Robert (Theresa) Culhane, Kelly (Kevin) O’Rourke, Christine (Patrick) Shea, Todd (Marie) Culhane, Timothy (Krystyna) Culhane, Bradley Culhane and Michael (Sylvia) Culhane, brothers John and Gerald Boytor, 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Doranne was predeceased by her brother Michael Boytor and sister Diane Friedrich. Family and friends may meet for Doranne’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, Oct. 15th at 1:00 PM at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hampden. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Abbey, 167 North Spencer Rd., Spencer, MA 01562.
