Donald F.X. Lynch, 69, died on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Born in Boston, he was the son of Francis X. Lynch of Lynn and the late Pauline A. (Sherlock) Lynch. Don was a graduate of Boston College and Boston College High School and served as the former Chief Financial Officer of United Bank in West Springfield. He was a charter member of St. Cecilia�s Knights of Columbus Council 10195 of Wilbraham and a member of John F. Kennedy Memorial Council 5695 of Dunedin, FL. He was a member of the American Philatelic Society and an amateur radio operator with the call sign KA1YZV. He was a former Trustee of the Cooperative Bank�s Employee Retirement Association and the Pioneer Valley Boy Scout Council. In addition to his father, he is also survived by his children; Kathleen Kirby of Wakefield, Timothy and Kenneth Lynch of West Springfield and six grandchildren, Carly, Tyler, Aristine, Kayden, Ann Marie and Bethany. He is also survived by his brother Gregory Lynch and his wife Tracy of Kingston, NH, and his sister Elizabeth Dropski and her husband William of Hampton, VA. Don was also predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Barbara A. (Konopacka) Lynch, his son D. Michael and his sister Christine. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 5PM to 8 PM at WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 Boston Road, Wilbraham. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 AM from Wilbraham Funeral Home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Cecilia�s Church, 42 Main Street, Wilbraham. Entombment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Springfield.
