Obituary
Domenica (Fierro) Zeno, 86, died peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2020, at home with loving family by her side. Born in Celzi, Italy to the late Gennaro and Elvira (Restaino) Fierro, she worked as a housekeeper at the Greater Springfield YMCA. She loved to cook and worked for many years at Silvano’s Restaurant and Two Guys Pizza in Springfield and previously worked at Downside Abbey in Bath, England. Domenica was a faithful communicant of St. Mary’s Church and enjoyed gardening, word puzzles, spending time with family and trips to the casino. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister Antoinette De Falco and her husband Edward N. Zeno in 2012. She will be sadly missed by her three devoted children: Lawrence Zeno of Hampden, Judith Zeno-Fruncillo and her husband Raffaele of Italy and Joseph Zeno and his wife Lisa of Hampden, with whom she lived, brother Carmen Fierro, sisters: Maria Iannaccone and Emilia DelGaudio, all of Italy, and five beloved grandchildren: Saverio, Marilena, Emily, Samantha and Joseph and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2nd from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, concluding with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. A private burial will be held at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
