Diane H. Millett

Diane Helen (LaMountain) Millett, age 78, of Springfield Massachusetts, died Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 at
Baystate Medical Center in Springfield Massachusetts.
Diane was born on November 28th, 1944 in Portland Maine, the daughter of Homer Fortune and Helen Beatrice (Curtis) LaMountain.
On May 4, 1968 in Greenfield, Massachusetts she
was united in marriage to Clifton Melvin Millett Jr.
She was an avid reader, and enjoyed collecting dolls, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her cat Scooter.
Diane is survived by her children: David Carr of Virginia, Jennifer Brown, Tammy Crosno and Michele Barrows of Massachusetts and Michael Millett, of Kansas. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Megan, Gratia, Lachlan, Taylor, Cullen, Aiden, Morgan, Chad,
Kyle, Brooklyn, Tyler, and Haley; and five great grandchildren, Carmen and Stephen, and Payslie, Grayson and Braxton as well as several nieces and nephews and of course, Scooter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Leo (WWII), her infant son Chicito John, and her husband.
Memorial services & Internment will be with her husband at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery at Fort Riley at a later date.
