�Darren P. Harrington, 47, passed away peacefully, at home, on August 27th after a brief illness. Born in Holyoke, he was the son of William and Harriet Harrington. During his life's journey Darren touched the lives of many in ways that can't be measured. After finishing his education at Monson High School in 1989, Darren attended several different vocational and day habilitation programs; most recently enjoying activities at Sunshine Village in Three Rivers. Each new day was an adventure for Darren and he made certain to fill it with fun, happiness and an abundance of smiles. Darren helped all who knew him to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Darren loved playing cards, going out to for monthly breakfast dates with Michael, listening to his CDs, attending parties, tractor rides, Chinese food, swimming, relaxing on the porch in his favorite rocker, long rides in John�s truck, taking walks in the neighborhood, celebrating birthdays and holidays, visiting friends, and sprinkling a little bit of happiness everywhere he went. Life was a magical adventure to Darren and he enjoyed sharing the magic with others. He will be missed every day and will always remain forever in the hearts of many. Darren is survived by his family, Anne Marie Corrieri, John W. Perrin, III and Felicia Crockett of Wilbraham, with whom he lived, and Lyle, Roy and Dawn Miller of Monson. He also leaves a brother Brian Harrington and his family of W. Spfld. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd from 3:00 to 5:30PM concluding with a Celebration of Life Service to honor Darren at 5:30 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, his family encourages everyone to spread some happiness and share a smile, in Darren�s memory.
