Daniel Michael Geary

Longtime Wilbraham resident Daniel M. Geary, 85, died peacefully on Thursday November 24, 2016, at home. Born in Walpole, MA to the late Daniel and Mary (Sullivan) Geary, he was a proud Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Clark University in Worcester and worked as an agency manager for John Hancock Insurance for 35 years. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia�s Church and a member of the Country Club of Wilbraham. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy (Michel) Geary in 2010. He will be sadly missed by his son Daniel M. Geary and Kim McCrary and his daughter Teresa M. Frye and her husband Steve as well as five beloved grandchildren; Michael and Anthony Geary and Heather, Stephanie and Jason Frye. Daniel�s Funeral will be Wednesday, November 30th at 10:00am at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. An hour of visitation will precede the service from 9:00-10:00am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
