Obituary
Longtime Wilbraham resident Daniel F. Budlong, 71, died on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late Rowland and Susan (Grzebienowski) Budlong, he was a proud US Marine Corps.Veteran and a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal (with one star). He was an HVAC instructor at Porter and Chester Institute for 20 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Pamela (Condon) Budlong, daughters: Dionne Ryan and Colene Melikian, grandchildren: Erin, Kirsten and Rhiann Ryan and Mackenzie Melikian, all of Wilbraham, and his brother Michael Budlong of SC. He was predeceased by his grandson Bradley Budlong. Daniel’s Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held Monday, September 16th at 2 PM at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66677.
