Curtis Patrick Quinn passed away peacefully at his home in Chicopee, MA on September 17, 2025. Born in Natick, MA on November 26, 1957, he was raised in Hatfield, MA. Curt was the third of nine children born to the late Norman J. Quinn and Judith Barrier Ward. He was a 1975 graduate of Smith Academy and received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering in 1980 from the University of Lowell, formerly Lowell Technological Institute. Curt worked in the construction industry for many years, notably “The Big Dig,” a major project in Boston and Edgewood, a prestigious Lifecare Community in North Andover, MA, as well as other projects. Curt loved to socialize and could have a conversation with anyone on any subject. He had an incredible memory and remembered everyone’s birthday, anniversary or any other special occasion. Curt is survived by his brothers; Norman J. Quinn, Jr. of Nashua, NH, Edward “Ned” Quinn and his wife Patsy of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Kevin “Lester/Scotty” Quinn and his partner Michelle Grenier of Wilbraham, MA, Tim Quinn and his wife Val of Bethlehem, PA, Bryan Quinn and his wife Robyn of Denton, TX. Curt is also survived by sisters; Kathleen Quinn of Hatfield, MA and Robin Jackson and her husband Doug of Rutland, VT, as well as many nieces and nephews who he adored. He’s also survived by his longtime friend Nick Vadala and his wife Kathy from Salem, NH. At Curt’s request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Baystate Health Foundation, Cardiac and vascular care, 280 Chestnut St., Floor 6, Springfield, MA 01199-1000.
