Claudine M. (Bolduc) Asselin

West Springfield - Claudine Marie (Bolduc) Asselin, 91, died Wednesday at Wingate at Wilbraham. She was born in Holyoke to the late Emilda (Belinger) and Ovila Bolduc. She grew up in Willimansett, lived in Springfield for a little while, and lived most of her adult life in West Springfield. Claudine was a Sales Associate at the former Steiger's Department Store for years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Roger A. Asselin in 1992. Claudine is survived by her loving children, Linda L. Mercier and her husband Ronnie of Monson, Susan D. Boutin and her husband David of Hernando, FL, Robert R. Asselin and his wife Judy of W. Spfld., and Janet L. Berube of Holyoke, eight adored grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her caring siblings, Sally LaBelle, Rita Grandmont, Laurette Boudreau, George Bolduc and Robert Bolduc. Claudine was predeceased by her son-in-law Paul Berube in 2014. Her funeral will be 9AM, Tuesday, at the WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham followed by a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia's Church, 42 Main Street, Wilbraham. Burial to follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Wingate for the care they gave their mother during her time there.
